Update: Brandon Hines has gotten over 275,000 tracked completed downloads from BitTorrent alone since the torrent was released. More downloads are expected user to user on Gnutella.
Soulful top class R&B act worth having on your playlist. When your initial thought after hearing the first few words of a song is "wow," you can pretty much trust your gut that you are listening to something or someone special.

A concept album that slaps you hard about the reality. You've got to love Monk Turner for creativity and witty lyrics. He combines various music genres and creates tracks suited for any type of music listener. Equipped with tongue-in-cheek lyrics about everyday life and social events that people encounter throughout their lives.
Of course, it won't be a concept album for nothing. Pretty much the entire album is all about songs at a particular location, like that "Dive Bar off Maine Street" or "The Hair Salon, " even "MJ's Grave." It's meant for you if you love to pay attention to the lyrics more than fuss over melody.

Being the best doesn't mean you have to be on top of the charts all the time. If there's one MC that deserves a good solid rep for being one of the finest, then no doubt it has to be Wordsmith. Hence, it's no wonder why this guy keeps showing his face in this website.

He's back!!! Mr. "more than a million downloads", Wordsmith, is back and has let loose 15 tracks from his personal archive; compiling them into The Vintage Vault Mixtape. Giving his fans something to satiate themselves while waiting for his new album, Vintage Experience, to hit shelves on March 30th.
As expected, Wordsmith delivers tracks filled with expressive lyrics which coalesces perfectly with equally diverse rhythm and beats. Love Hip Hop and R&B? Then this video is for you. Naturally 7 sung their way on TED Talk’s stage when they performed their song “Fly Baby.” No, there weren’t any instruments. Instead, they used their own vocals to compose a good rhythm. Beatboxing or “vocal play,” as they call it, is one of the things the group is very good at; it paved a way for them to be more creative and unique among any other Hip Hop and R&B groups.
