Love Story in Blood Red: Hot Cha

Love Story in Blood Red is spearheaded by former Means frontman, Jason Frederick. Working together with producer and friend, Kris Poulin; the duo created this 4-track compilation of indie rock goodness. Although it took years for the actual songs to be fleshed out as circumstances and life got in the way; the final recordings were presented by Kris to Jason after 9 years since he left him with it. They finally managed to release the short compilation last March 2011 over at indie netlabel, RockProper.com. The EP also hosts several musician friends who were enlisted to help complete the EP by Kris during all those years.

Mike Schpitz/Grumpy Old Men: Sunday Skool

Marking his second appearance here in Frostclick, Mike Schpitz has released his latest record, Sunday Skool. The artist first debuted on the pages of the blog after releasing his second album, Spring Cleaning which to date has reached more than 200,000 downloads! For that album, he collaborated with a variety of artists and musiciansto create a stunning, laid back hip hop record anybody can enjoy. This time around, Schpitz collaborates with Pete Sayke, forming a new group called, Grumpy Old Men. Sunday Skool is their debut record and it seems to be heading the same route as his earlier release. It's packed with good beats that should get you to take notice.

Windows Phone 7 has a very meager app choices up it's sleeve when it comes to games, further frustrating it's users. So for all the gaming junkies out there with a Windows Phone 7 device - check out Physi Bricks. The game takes alot of cues from Angry Birds and Crush the Castle. Yep, it is quite similar, but with an interesting and intuitive gameplay mechanism. It was developed by Stiq Joy LLC for whom the app is the first one on the record.

Beat Culture: Tokyo Dreamer

A fairly fresh ambient compilation that's already generating buzz among internet music fans; Beat Culture's Tokyo Dreamer is looking forward to a great year. The young musician behind the album is Korean born, USA based, Sunik Kim. He's fairly new in the musical playing field but he's definitely showing promise by expertly combining various synth sounds with careful pianos and pitched shift vocals. As a results, the album is a rich hodge podge of sound that reflects an electronic ambient feel along with a hint of shoegaze rock for those few.

Developed by Pumpkin Studios and published byEidos, this game is worth the time invested in total gameplay. The game was originally released as a commercial one for the Windows PC and Playstation in 1999, but on December 6, 2004, the source code and most of the data was published under the GNU (General Public License). This made all gamers happy around the globe.

Kyle Patrick: KP

Kyle Patrick's first solo album KP removes you from the real world. After its release last May 2010, the album had already garnered more than 30,000 hits and topped the bandcamp music charts. A bonafide musician since the age of six, Kyle Patrick had devoted his whole life for music mastering any instrument possible. During his time in Berklee College of Music, Kyle scored a big break as a front for the pop group Click Five for their 2007 release Modern Minds and Pastimes. He had also performed with big names like The Black Eyed Peas and Placebo. Kyle is currently working on a new EP and 3D music video while actively doing charity work.
