This catchy indie rock alternative crew from Kiev, Ukraine is certainly one to watch out for. Singleton first entered the music scene back in 2004. As they started out, they promoted their music by doing an extensive tour all over the Ukraine. However, it wasn’t until 2009, when the band released their debut EP, Storms (get it here.)

By 2010, the group pushed further and put together this 12 track compilation, The High Seas. The Singleton play upbeat, indie alternative tracks that are catchy and filled with emotional lyrics. If you’re looking for a good treat, this band will definitely surprise you with their brand of alternative indie pop rock tunes. The album is available for download on their website, Jamendo or right here in Frostclick. Check it out!

After several years in the making, Singleton doesn’t disappoint with their full length effort. This fun album opens with Time To Run which is utterly catchy even at first listen. The beat is perfect for dancing or simply head bobbing at a fun rave. The quality of the recording is pretty good and everything mixes together beautifully. The guitar driven sound mashes perfectly with the soft vocals.

When You Are Gone contains an air of brooding without becoming overly dark. Alina’s vocals are softer in places and masquerade beautifully to fill the atmosphere whenever needed. To match the vocals, the instrument work is tight and the sound is lined with fast drumming as well as excellent guitars. Another cool track is Hey Boy. This single marries acoustic pop and indie rock with its fast tempo and slightly wailing vocals.

You can check out more of the band by visiting their site or maybe checking them out live if you happen to catch them perform in your area. One of the best bands to check out and get hooked on this upcoming year.
