Hay Day by game developer Supercell gives you an opportunity to experience life in the farm. In this game you’ve been given one of your own and it’s your job to tend to it by harvesting corn and crops, raising chickens and other animals. You also have to perform a host of other tasks to sustain the farm.

As you play Hay Day you’re also tasked with painting the silo, feeding the critters and also managing those who visit your farm. They are usually folks from other farms or people from town who might offer you money for your goods or offer tasks. While you have a lot of tasks, the controls are easy to use and pick up. Aside from that, the graphics are very nice and they’re very detailed. You can also pan and zoom, useful for taking good looks at your farm.

But it’s not just pure eye candy though as the gameplay overall is very smooth and it makes good use of the iPhone touchscreen. For instance, you just need to tap a piece of land and slide your finger along the field to gather crops. You can also use the same controls to peddle products that your farm animals produce. In addition you can visit your friends’ farms using Facebook.

To see all the things you’ve achieved, just click your house. You also get rewards when you achieve certain goals. For instance you get an Egghead if you can gather a specific amount of eggs and you can use diamonds found in the game to speed processes like growing wheat. Overall this is a very enjoyable game.
