Pucca’s Restaurant

Pucca's Restaurant is one of those game that's so hard to put down. Not only does it feature a familiar (and quite popular) character, it also incorporates great gameplay to the mix. The game puts you in the shoes of a cute little Korean girl who is aspiring to become one of the best chefs around. You start off as a mere underling and have to work your way up the ladder in a 5-star restaurant. You can slowly reach your goal by keeping customers happy and serving them great dishes. Like most sim games, this one provides tons of fun features. Worth checking out if you'd like something to get busy with during your spare time.

Dusty

If you ever wondered how smoke behaves during any particular scenario, then you could definitely benefit from having Dusty in your computer. Now, I know you're probably scratching your head and asking yourself, "what do I need a smoke simulator for?" Well, for one, it's helpful if you're an animator, game developer or artist and you want to realistically portray how smoke would flow when a fire is lit up. The program is available for download on Windows but there's also a Mac version. The algorithm is based on the Stable Fluids Algorithm created by Jos Stam. TrackMania

TrackMania Nations is one of the best and most enjoyable FREE racing games we've seen in a while! Nadeo studio - the creators of the TrackMania game series - took all the advantages PC has as gaming platform and created something very unique and addicting. The game lets you drive in solo & multiplayer modes on 65, beautifully designed and progressively difficult new race tracks. The newest version - TrackMania Nations Forever allows even more users to race and interact with each other online. It is a very big download - 650Mb - but if you are into racing games, this one is definitely a must have!

Frets on Fire

Frets on Fire was created as an entry to the Assembly 2006 Game Development Competition by Unreal Voodoo and it placed first in the competition. The game tests your musical skills and the speed of your fingers in a similar way to the very popular Guitar Hero games do, but instead of forcing you to buy the guitar controllers, the game & the console, it lets you play your favorite tunes free using your keyboard and your home computer (and it is available for PC, Mac & Linux). Of course if you would like to, you can also use the guitar controllers or generic joysticks.
