iHeartRadio

iHeartRadio is more than an online radio. It is a free, complete digital service from Clear Channel Management Services. There are over 1500 stations to choose from. You can search stations by format, zip or state. One of its nicest features is you can build a custom station based on songs or artists. You can also review your “likes” and history, read song lyrics and get information about the songwriter. Your favorite stations can be shared, including the ones you make.

The Black Sunn: Born Alone, Die Alone

Born Alone, Die Alone is a 2009 album from Florida-based rapper and musician, The Black Sunn. Produced by Mydus, the album contains 15 jammin' tracks that show off catchy beats and great lyrical poetry. According to the emcee, he wanted "to show the world that Baltimore has a voice that’s more than just drug dealing and murder..." He adds, "some people may not like that but I’m not one to hold back what I gotta say."

Vindictus

There are a lot of MMORPGs in the market, but Vindictus should not be missed. This action packed multiplayer game from Nexon incorporates solid gameplay with stunning graphics and a gripping story that make it compelling. The game is based on Celtic mythology, and you have to battle your way to the top. Fans of hack and slash multiplayer games will appreciate its fast action. This game took a while to develop and was originally known as Mabinogi Heroes. Compared to other anime-styled games from Korea, the graphics of Vindictus are more lifelike.

Battle Circus

Exploding performances and complex, ambitious arrangements pretty much describe Battle Circus. Originally from New Zealand, the band has relocated to the US in 2010 to focus in spreading their sound and touring the continent. No strangers to the festival circuit, the boys have also performed plenty of awesome sets in support of Amanda Palmer and Gary Numan. This self-titled record carries 10 progressive cuts including two remastered tracks from their debut EP, The Half Light Symphony.

Awesome Screenshot

A screen capture usually does just one thing: capture part of (or the entire) screen. Awesome Screenshot is a free utility that takes it to another level. Aside from capturing screenshots, you will be able to share and annotate them. Awesome Screenshot isn’t that big, so downloading doesn’t take a lot of time. Learning how to use it is a no-brainer. If you want to share a webpage, just go to that page. Click the extension button and that’s it. The annotate toolbar provides several options for annotating pages. Options include adding lines, circles, boxes or drawing freehand. A useful feature allows you to blur information. Use this tool if you want to hide specific elements.

The Wall & The Window: The Years EP

Like a soft whisper, The Wall & The Window have mastered the beauty of singing quiet and hushed up lullabies. According to the band, The Years EP takes you back to a time when a recording was meant as "an actual record of a moment in time, like a photograph in motion, framed for an instant within the borders of the picture." Fully done on a 4-track cassette, it has that lofi, yet polished and spontaneous feel. Behind this great folk EP are songwriters, Adam Mormolstein and Kristen Hotschlag.

Snowmix

Snowmix has many functions, but it is essentially a computer software that allows you to mix recorded and live video feeds. The program was developed by Peter Maersk-Moller and the Copenhagen Suborbitals StreamTeam. The project came about because existing Linux video encoders didn’t have the features the developers wanted, namely to combine several video streams and graphics, text and video overlaying.

Colours of Melancholia

Colours of Melancholia is the one-man project of Berlin based musician, Sebastian. It's an album that leaves you great window seats to the artist's sonic exploration. Initially influenced by heavy metal, rock and punk; Sebastian says he's always been fascinated in sampling as well as experimental types of production. This interest then led to this self-titled debut record. The compilation is a lush landscape of sound; showcasing great use of beats, samples and synths to create a pleasing album worth noting.

Scramble With Friends Free

Scramble With Friends Free is one of the most popular word games for the iOS and Android. The gameplay is addictive, and you can literally spend hours playing with your friends. The game was developed by Zynga, the same company that produced Hanging with Friends and Zynga Poker. The game is easy to learn, but mastering it takes time. The app consists of a board with sixteen Scrabble letter tiles set on a 4x4 grid. Players score by moving their finger along tiles that are adjacent. Your goal is to form words (minimum two letters long). A single game has 3 rounds. You play each board individually. You won’t be able to see your opponent’s score until the round ends. As you win rounds, bonus points become available.
