Staggered Crossing: Burgundy & Blue

Staggered Crossing has had their share of ups and downs; selling more than 20,000 albums, being signed (then dropped) from a major record label, and having a primary member of the group go through a near fatal accident. Despite the success and trials, Staggered Crossing still move forward and create great music. Burgundy & Blue is their latest offering and as expected, it carries 12 rock alternative pop tracks that's sure to impress fans and non-fans alike.

Gandhi Gandhi Boom Boom

Gandhi Gandhi Boom Boom is a bit unusual in that they force you to merge the opposites. In this game, you have to work hard to make sure that Gandhi and hamburgers do not connect as much as possible. The interesting gameplay and the non-linear game concept is what's held as a standout for this game. It won praises at the 2009 Global Game Jam and was developed by Clement Linel, Eric Scott, Rosanna Lopez, and Traci Lawson.

The Ease Down: Shapeshifter

Singer/songwriter, Ben Wilkins, is best known for his band, indie piano pop rock group, The Ease Down. This Montreal native loves to create honky tonk jazz pop rock with his piano as well as incorporate some lyrical melody to his songs about love and life. Shapeshifter is the first album from this group and comes with 10 tracks filled with good vibes that's perfect for a relaxing afternoon.

Nanosmiles

Nanosmiles is not just another arena shooter game. One of the entries for the Tokyo Games Festival, this little shooter game gives player a different approach towards gameplay as well as the control scheme. In the game, you can use inanimate ships found within your area to target your enemies instead of you attacking directly. It takes a bit of time to get used to this unique style of fighting but once you do get the hang of it, the results are quite interesting.

MindFlow: Breakthrough

Formed in 2003, this progressive rock band from Sao Paulo, Brazil has garnered plenty of praises. Mindflow has won fans from both the rock genre to the hardcore progressive junkies. Breakthrough from Mindflow is filled with progressive metal riffs, sweet and powerful vocals, thundering drums as well as flowing melodies that's hard not to fall for.

OpenSong is a simple but very useful software for managing lyrics, chords, lead sheets as well as presenting them during performances or gatherings.
