Speeding away from the cops is a no-no in real life, but there are always games that allow us to live out our fantasies of being rebels. A good example of this is Police Pursuit from developer Kwalee . The premise of course is you are being chased by the cops and you have to avoid them. To the credit of the developer however, they took the idea and turned it into something that feels and plays fresh.
Police Pursuit belongs in the casual game category more than a racing game. Set in a top down view, you control your car by tapping right or left depending where you want to go.
There are lots of cop cars going after you so you tap left and right to avoid them. As you drive around try to make cops crash into each other to boost your score. Whenever the cops collide your combo goes up and that is the goal.
While steering clear off the cops, keep an eye on the health bar. Do not allow it to get to zero as that means game over. It might take some getting used to but you will develop a rhythm and that makes tapping and maneuvering easier.
Police Pursuit also comes with various cars that can be unlocked when you reach certain scores and milestones, giving you incentive to keep playing. So while the game does not reinvent the wheel or anything revolutionary, it is still a lot of fun.
