Featuring ten tracks of ambient rock music, this collection harvest our emotions creating something that will sink deep in our cores. They describe their music as a sound that's a bit of Radiohead, a little Interpol, and slightly reminiscent of Portishead, but still entirely and uniquely their own. Currently, their full-length album Clara has just been released last June 20.

The City Streets: The Jazz Age

Don't be fooled by the album title, The Jazz Age, it isn't filled with sweet, soulful jazz music. Instead, what you'll get is a melancholic (sometimes energetic) compilation of alternative pop rock. The album is actually an open book of sorts for member, Rick Reid, as the album chronicles and narrates some of the worst times that has happened in his life. This is the third self-released album from the trio. Released under Clamour Records, it is laced with a beautiful story line about a love affair that didn't pan out and the hurt, frustration, anger and various emotions that come crashing in afterward.

Renard: Robot Brainstronaut Blastoff!!!

If you like techno, video game references, and ridiculously vibrant art covers, Robot Brainstronaut Blastoff is the prescription music you need to take. Produced and made exclusively by Renard (just one of his few aliases) through his personal, independent record label LapFox Trax, this Canadian electronic music extraordinaire sequences and mixes his tracks using state-of-the-art programs and equipment.

Magic Man: Real Life Color

Dreamy and magical seems best fit to describe Magic Man. Partners in crime, Sam Lee and Alex Caplow join together to create a beautiful mix of simple indie synth pop tracks that at parts will lull you to sleep and also perk your day right up. Real Life Color is their debut compilation. According to the boys, "the songs were written at several different locations in France, including a chateau, a farm, a circus festival, and a beach cottage and brought back home to the states for further recording and editing (most of which was done in small dorm rooms and transmitted between band members with the aid of the world wide web)."

Roughquest: Hybrid EP

Coming in as the 12th release from the Cut Records roster, Roughquest and its Hybrid EP is certainly living up to expectations. Hailing from Berlin, "James brings us some strong experimental bass-weight in the form of the three-track Hybrid EP." Exploring dub step, techno and infusing it with tribal as well as world music; the three-song EP is a hodge podge of grooves and synths inside out. You'll find plenty of interesting moments here.

Cult Classic Records Present: Friends and Family

One of the newest kids on the block, Cult Classic Record is an online netlabel that aims to share and promote new talent in the world of music. Rykard: Shelter Cove

Lift those gloomy days with a hint of sunshine in Rykard's latest musical project Shelter Cove. Released last August 11, 2012 through Dedpop, the Northern England-based musician gives to us four tracks oozing with infectious electronic synthpop that will surely make you feel that it's summer all over again. Title track Shelter Cove opens up with tribal beats and dangerously addictive synthlines. Glowing electro tunes floes steadily through each note, creating the perfect laid-back anthem.

The Symphony of Science: Collector’s Edition

Occasionally, you'll come across really unusual albums online that you can't help but be fascinated with them. The Symphony of Science is one of these records. Taking a clue from the title alone, you can tell it's gonna be a geeky and quirky ride. The idea behind the record is to bring "scientific knowledge and philosophy to the public, in a novel way." Spearheaded by John D. Boswell, he initially released the experimental collaboration on video. Combining lectures and essays with a mix of electronic melodies, he created a unique record that's not only enjoyable but also quite enlightening.

Terrace: Circuits EP

Well-loved band Terrace is back with an edgier approach. Their latest EP released last July 12, Circuits brings you four tracks of electro dance tunes for that psychedelic high. Currently based in Vancouver and Calgary, Terrace is Simon Lock, Isis Graham, and Adam Gasten. Unlike their first album Pollen, which was also featured here in FrostClick, Circuits EP explores the sharp and spacey aesthetic of electro dance music. Intro track Chances approaches with rough electro beats and rapid drumbeats, slowing down to a pace perfect for steady partying. Glowing keys add a dreamy flair to the track.
