Team Fortress Arcade

Team Fortress Arcade is a retro side scrolling demake created by Eric Ruth and inspired by the popular online shooter from Valve, Team Fortress 2. Ruth has been known to take big name titles and giving it his own spin. He's the same guy who created side scroller versions of Halo and Left4Dead and even an 8-bit remake of DJ Hero. This cool sidescroller has been winning raves from fans of the original game as well as those that are just discovering it. Like the original, the developer promises to include an online multiplayer function later on but for now players will have to settle with sharing their keyboard with a friend if they want to play co-op mode.

World War

It is that time of the year again to load the guns, buckle up the shoes and head for war. Yes, all Android users report to base-camp in the game World War and fight for survival. The game is the usual war game with the sole objective of having the strongest camp, ammunition, machinery and the perfect ingredient to shove dust in your opponents face. Developed by Storm8, these developers are heavily into the whole RPG scene. They have multiple RPG titles under-their-belt and all have received favorable responses from the audience. World War raises the bar altogether.

The game functions similarly to the recently launched Mafia Wars 2 by Zynga, but together with the nice gameplay and the fact, that you need to grow your mafia by adding people, it really raises the bar. Developed by Funzio, Crime City for iOS takes the exact same cue from the Facebook version and acts similarly when it comes to gameplay, visuals, characters, ammunition, and surroundings. The game looks quite good on the iPhone and customization options are plenty.

MechWarrior 4 Mercenaries

Make way for heavy duty gaming action with MechWarrior 4 Mercenaries. This game belongs to the very popular and widely rated MechWarrior franchisee, and the publisher is none other than Microsoft Game Studios; developed by FASA Studios. The game brings you a good dose of adrenaline pumping action with loads and loads of machinery thrown-in everywhere. Developed with the help of Mechwarrior 4 engine, it looks gorgeous to say the least.

F.E.A.R Combat

Gear up warriors, it is time to join the team, load the guns, buckle-up, head for some intense killing and feel the "F.E.A.R". Yes, we are talking about the highly-popular F.E.A.R franchisee with the spine-chilling action that takes the FPS genre to a whole new level. Developed by Monolith Productions, F.E.A.R Combat is a multiplayer online game being offered as a freeware. The game takes the entire queue from the other F.E.A.R versions and fans will immediately notice the similarities, once the game has shot-up and the mouse starts controlling the gun.

Life is Crime

Here is something for all the action lovers who get enticed with the thought of owning their own Mafia family. Well, we are talking about Life is Crime and this is an Android exclusive. The game is very much like Zynga's Mafia Wars, but this one uses GPS coordinates for awesome realism and action. The game is the only release from the Red Robot Labs, but keeping in mind the execution level given to this title, the future updates/games are something to just anxiously wait for.

Brothers in Arms: Global Front

Its always great to play a sequel game and continue the story with a bit of tweaks and advancements. Devil Ninja2 takes things up from where Devil Ninja left and adds a new Boss for hours of fun and enchanting gameplay. Developed by Droid Studio, who have a very successful rate in the Android App market, Devil Ninja2 has already won some favorable reviews. The game is very sweet to look at and surely will be eye-candy on the higher-end Android monsters with revolutionary displays.
