Meshlab

Meshlab is a special type of program that helps process unstructured 3D models and meshes that come from 3D scanning. 3D models tend to get very large, but the Meshlab Development Team has built a complete set of tools in the software that will help with editing, converting, rendering, inspecting and otherwise do some touching up. If you've ever used a 3D program before and had problems with mesh editing, this can really help.

One spin of The Sea Life's latest release, In Basements, and it's clear that this might just be the perfect chill-out album for the weary soul. This Washington-based band is composed of Patrick, Jordan, Payton, Jon, and Vivek. In their latest album, The Sea Life separates themselves from the pack with ten tracks of undeniable dream pop. The group's sonic palette can be summed up as something in-between dark rock tones blended in a calm and spacey atmosphere.

ChaosPro is a freeware fractal program for Windows XP, Vista and later. Created by Martin Pfingstl, it can produce fractals in real time. Those new to fractal creation will appreciate its simple interface. Advanced users can tweak thousands of parameters to produce stunning images. For a freeware program, ChaosPro has a large number of features. As expected, it can generate Mandelbrot and Julia sets. But other fractal types like Escapetime, Attractor, Quaternion and more are supported. The application is multiwindowing, multitasking and supports an unlimited number of colors. The software is compatible with UltraFractal and FractInt.

Samedi Sound System (Dub Temple Records): Duke Side A

Samedi Sound System is an Aussie duo made up of Baron Oneway and Vir Asan. The two have been staples on the Aussie club scene, spinning tracks for frenetic club goers. Duke Side A is the first record for the duo and it attempts to capture the energy they generate while pleasing gyrating and throbbing bodies in the dancefloor. The DJs spin anything from dancehall, dub to jungle music in their sets. Hence, it’s no surprise that this record echoes with various genres coalescing into each other and creating one coherent track after another. This amazing dance staple is offered for free and released under Brisbane-based independent label, Dub Temple Records.

The Local Traumatic: Demo

Although fairly new in the music scene, The Local Traumatic is steadily carving their name on the wall. With touches of indie pop and rock enveloping their sound, it's easy to get swept away by the punchy, easy listening tracks.
