EULAlyzer

EULAlyzer by BrightSoft is a program that analyzes the contents of the EULA (end user license agreement). If you don’t know what the EULA is, it’s that long agreement that a software requires you to accept before proceeding with the installation. Most people just click yes without reading it. That is understandable because those EULAs are full of legal, unintelligible words. But that’s a mistake because you have no idea what you agree to. What EULAlyzer does is scan this long document. It will flag phrases, statements and words that are important.

The Big Steal: Evan Williams Nights

Evan Williams Nights is the debut compilation for Middle England band, The Big Steal. The entire album is self-produced and was written over a certain period when the artist was calling Virginia his home. Comprising of songs that tackle various topics like "running, self-loathing and the magic of American lawn games;" the album is a 10-track record that has its merits. With carefree alternative pop punk tracks, you'll find the album good company for days you just want to lounge around and enjoy the sun.

Offroad Legends Warmup

Offroad Legends Warmup is one of the coolest racing / simulation games for the iOS. Developed by Dogbyte Games Korlatolt, it allows you to drive a variety of offroad vehicles on different tracks. Whether you choose six-wheeled Behemoths, 4x4 off-roaders or Monster Trucks, you need to go over hills, smash barriers and in some cases make your vehicle fly over ravines. The physics are challenging, so good driving skills are necessary.

Terrace: Circuits EP

Well-loved band Terrace is back with an edgier approach. Their latest EP released last July 12, Circuits brings you four tracks of electro dance tunes for that psychedelic high. Currently based in Vancouver and Calgary, Terrace is Simon Lock, Isis Graham, and Adam Gasten. Unlike their first album Pollen, which was also featured here in FrostClick, Circuits EP explores the sharp and spacey aesthetic of electro dance music. Intro track Chances approaches with rough electro beats and rapid drumbeats, slowing down to a pace perfect for steady partying. Glowing keys add a dreamy flair to the track.

tungu

A whimsical mix of tribal folk tale and futuristic effects, tungu. will fully immerse you to a visual world of dance and eccentric landscapes. Directed/animated by March Rühl and written by Georg Klein, the 9-minuter short tells the story of tungu, a tribe observed by scientists which lives peacefully outside the external world in the rainforest. These tribesmen are devoid of symbols and writing, they only communicate through simple dances.

Ben Lear: Lillian: A Folk Opera

Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter and composer Ben Lear brews some fresh folk tunes in his debut album, Lillian: A Folk Opera. Released las June 14, 2011, this 14-track collection was described by the Los Angeles Times as "an edgy, experimental folk opera blending acoustic guitar songs with percussive chamber and orchestral music". The album kicks off with a 55-second opening track that technically sets the chill-out ambient mood of the collection. Title track Lillian follows with saccharine guitar play ups and poetic verses that are hard not to fall in love with. Ben's simple delivery blends well with the subtle build up violin solos and steady drum beats.

GnuCash

GnuCash is a personal finance management program. A product of the GnuCash Project, it is ideal for small business accounting and personal finance. The software is easy to use, but you’ll get the maximum benefit with a bit of financial management knowledge. The interface is simple but useful; it will be familiar to anyone who’s done online banking. The left side displays stocks, checking accounts, deposits and other holdings that you might have. Select one of those entries and various details will be shown.

Tiara Wiles: RE:Dux

Tiara Wiles has been around the scene for quite a while. Since 2008, she's released a record for almost every year and she's showing no sign of stopping just yet. Raised by parents who love music as well, Tiara has explored and experimented with her music. Ever since she first released her debut EP, A Rosenberg Oddisee back in 2008, her music has evolved to include a variety of genres. For her latest effort, Re: Dux, her sound is a bit more dance/electro pop oriented yet it still bears that signature Tiara touch.

Fruit Ninja

Fruit Ninja by Halfbrick Studios is an addictive game based on a simple premise; slice and chop fruit. The game is set against a wood background and there you will chop all kinds of fruits. These are hurled into the air, and you have to slice them. It sounds so simple but it is fun and you’ll definitely want to keep going. The controls are simple. Slide your finger on the display to cut a fruit before it vanishes from view. If you hit a bomb instead of a fruit, you’re out. If three fruits pass by the screen without being cut, you lose. That’s basically all there is to it.
