It was created by TapJoy and since it's release it has become of the biggest, most downloaded free apps in the iTunes library. Of course, it's not just because it's offered for free that makes it great but it's actually a very addictive and entertaining strategy game. Combining strategy and good old fun, you'll certainly enjoy this one. Why not go ahead and check it out?

Joey Ripps – Son of 1,000 Pardons

As part of a Just Plain Soundcrew (highly talented progressive hip-hop group with a netlabel of the same name, and which blockSonic calls the most prolific and talented hip-hop squad in the US) Joey Ripps, hails from Richmond, Virginia and comes to us with one of his great new releases, Son of 1,000 Pardons. In a way I am more than grateful that I went across this album, not only because it led me to discover other amazing artists but because it brings with it some quality made, amazing sounds that I can listen to for hours at the time.

Doodle Hangman

Hangman is already an addictive enough game on its own, but with this highly stylized, animated version; you'll definitely want to keep playing over and over again. Released by EnsenaSoft, Doodle Hangman is an amazing new game worth trying. The game offers tons of features including a two player option. You can easily play with your mate and provide your own words while playing. The animation is excellent and definitely adds to the fun of playing this cool word puzzle. Give the game a download. It's perfect for the iPad, iPhone as well as iTouch.

Born From A Shore’s Friends

Born From a Shore's five track EP, Friends, is a luscious indie folk pop compilation filled with twinkling background sounds and cool vocals. Although it's hard to find information about this group, (I think they're French) their EP is still worth listening to. Friends comes with 5 catchy tracks that incorporates a cool pop, sometimes laid-back jazzy kind of vibe. The vocal harmonies are excellent and the quality of the recording is quite good as well. It's very clear and crisp; very professional. Go ahead and take a listen to this wonderful EP. It'll take you to a dreamy landscape filled with wonderful strings, awesome melodies and sweet vocals.

Zwei-Stein

Zwei-Stein might seem like the last name of a person, but instead it's actually a reliable and highly functional free video editing program. The program works great in editing but does feature a very technical interface so it's ideal for someone who doesn't get easily daunted by the onslaught of various windows and buttons in one screen. The program makes it easy for users to incorporate special effects to their videos and can easily work on two different media sources and render them at the same time. These are just two of the software's strengths. Pretty much, Zwei-Stein has plenty more up its sleeve when it comes to helping users with their video/image editing needs.

Gleb Bones: The Fine Art of Wasting Time

Sometimes, all you need is good old rock and roll. Gleb Bones' The Fine Art of Wasting Time is an interesting mix of funk, hardrock, indie and garage rock in one loud yet likable record. These Frenchman actually describe their sound as "glam rock" on their Myspace page and certainly, some songs do remind you of the good old hair, sequins, and tights days. However, there's no denying that most of the tracks are certainly worth lovin'. If you're looking for some nostalgic rock and roll, then this is one of the best records on Jamendo to check out. Best part, it's available as a free download. Take a listen!

Pew Pew

Hailed by many as one of the best shooter games available for free download on the App Store, Pew Pew has certainly lived up to its name ever since it was released. The game is a multidirectional shooter that's actually similar to Geometry Wars and another shooter game we've reviewed here in Frostclick, called Grid Wars. It plays perfectly on both the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Similar to Grid Wars, the game features a ton of retro graphics, an assortment and a bombardment enemies as well as a very cool gameplay. Give the game a try.

Cyber

Cyber is one simple yet very entertaining game. It's created and produced by Italian game developer, Andrea Pignataro. In the game, you are tasked to play former police officer, Jason Currial, who gets dragged into a whole web of mystery and adventure after his best friend disappears. Even though the game isn't spectacular, it still manages to win you over. It's quite apparent how much love, pain and effort went into the game so it's difficult to simply dismiss it once you have started playing. If you are looking for a good, average detective game to pass off time, then this is the perfect one for you. It might not break barriers but it certainly has its good points.

Viola: Wonderabilia

Viola is a Finnish duo that creates funky electronic music. This quirky outfit is actually a musical duo who describes themselves as "influenced by beautiful heartfelt music, ass-shaking beats, sub-par humor and hidden messages." Moreover, they admit to being the type of people who usually sit in one corner of a club or "discotheque" and like to watch other people have fun. This same voyeuristic/observant persona reverberates in the duo's music. Their sound is laid back electronic dance pop with a certain element of mystery. The songs seem familiar and likable, perfect for lounging and well, watching other people. If you love electronic pop music, then might just work for you. Check it out.
