Moving Takahashi

Cuddle up with a loved one while watching Moving Takahashi, a pleasant addition to the "bad boy" romance genre. This Kickstarter-funded short film was directed by Josh Soskin, an LA-based writer/director. It stars the model-turned-actor Boyd Holdbrook and the innocent-looking Kristin Malco. The film talks about a young hustler/mover (Holdbrook) who stumbles upon a suicidal daughter (Malco) while moving furniture out of a posh LA home. The mover's original plan of robbery changed in a rare fit of conscience to help the dying girl.

Instagram

Instagram is a beautiful way to share your world. It's a photo sharing and moment sharing reinvented with lashings of retro style. Snap a picture, choose a filter to transform it and then post it to Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr. This app is taking the world with around 30 million active users; it was an exclusive Apple product until last week when the Android version was released and racked up more than 1 million downloads in 12 hours. And now Instagram was officially taken over by Facebook for a nifty sum of $1 billion.

FriendSheep

Delivering just the right dose of fun, excitement and spice, FriendSheep revamps the well-known character of the big bad wolf. This shockingly good animation by students of Valencia-based PrimerFrame, prances along the elements of fairytales, unpredictable humor and the prey-predator relationship. It has already garnered a lot of recognition including a recent selection for the 2012 Goya.

Crime City

Gamers get ready to spread crime on the streets with Crime City for iOS. The game functions similarly to the recently launched Mafia Wars 2 by Zynga, but together with the nice gameplay and the fact, that you need to grow your mafia by adding people, it really raises the bar. Developed by Funzio, Crime City for iOS takes the exact same cue from the Facebook version and acts similarly when it comes to gameplay, visuals, characters, ammunition, and surroundings. The game looks quite good on the iPhone and customization options are plenty.

Sidebar Disabler

Sometime back Facebook decided to give an all-new look to the chat area. After the sudden layout redesign, majority of Facebook users were cursing the social networking site for this change, wishing they could bring the old set up back. The problem is that you cannot retrograde the changes on Facebook and your only solution is to be happy and live with the "upgrades". Many users hated the new chat-area. They felt it was it was confusing, lack-luster, and quite annoying to use. The biggest drawback was having your online friends being displayed in two panes and the group lists disappeared. Now, the Sidebard Disabler browser plug-in can revert all the changes and bring back the good old Facebook layout back on your screen.

Facebook for iPad (Official App)

After the very successful launch of the iPad & iPad 2, users continually waited for the official Facebook App for the tablet but the wait seemed to be in vain. So almost 7 months after the iPad 2 was released, the Facebook app for iPad has made its homecoming with version 4.0.2. Users around the globe were frustrated by using the Facebook for iPhone app on their iPad as it appeared to be pixelated in 2x mode and the window mode just did not do justice to the high-resolution 9.7-inch display of the device.
