Val Emmich: Bulldozzzer

For deep and raw acoustic music, it's hard to beat the moodiness of Val Emmich. This Jersey city native has released previous albums before and each one features a special touch. For Bulldozzzer, Emmich keeps his audience on their toes by delivering fresh yet subdued set of tracks that highlights his beautiful vocals and intimate songwriting. You can expect barely whispered singing fluttering over keyboards and guitars.

Mars Water: Mars, Je T’aime

Mars Water‘s foliow-up album to its July release is a curious thing. The band started as a monthly song writing project of Ponny Kosmas in 2011, which later evolved into a full-pledged band under the name Mars Water—a combination of Kosmas’ interest and fear in both astronomy and the ocean.

Derek Clegg: All Those Days To Feel Better

When Derek Clegg makes an appearance here at the Frostclick blog, you can be sure that he definitely has something good in tow. Sure enough, his latest album, All Those Days To Feel Better is something to look forward to. Like his previous releases, this one is an indie acoustic folk affair that carries Clegg's laid back vocals and beautiful melodies. His guitar skills, vocal and lyrical work still take center stage like it always has.

Canto el Cuerpo Eléctrico

With short pops of energy, this self titled debut from Canto el Cuerpo Electrico is a likable compilation even if you may not speak the language. Carrying a simple acoustic pop sound, the album is filled with 10 cuts recorded by Lautaro Barcelo and crew.

The Reigning Monarchs

Sweater up as The Reigning Monarchs‘ self-titled album hits the FrostClick scene. Jam-packed with thirteen tracks of rock and surf, this album will surely give the North Hollywood-based band a strong indie following.

The Specktators: About That Life
