Replica Island

Replica Island is touted by many as "THE" Android game to have, that is if you haven't got it yet. The game is a free, open source game that's available for Android users. It features retro graphics that will definitely get any old-school fanboy lusting after it. Done in 2D and in the same vein as Megaman and Mario, the game is packed with entertainment and will definitely keep you busy for hours on end. The game was originally released back in March 2010. Now, it has garnered quite a following and has solidified its status as one of the most entertaining games in the Android market. There are 40 levels in the game so make sure to clear up a good portion of your afternoon before playing. Because trust me, this is addictive. Give it a go.

Viola: Anything Can Stop Us

Viola is a Finnish electronic duo that knows how to create some fun, 80s infused dance pop electronica sound. On their website, they describe themselves as "Two guys influenced by beautiful heartfelt music, ass-shaking beats, sub-par humor and hidden messages." Indeed, they do create some fancy, danceable beats that make you want to gyrate your way down the dancefloor. There's also a nice blend of vocal work, instruments and electronic beats intertwined in this album. The record is the group's second album and the "first as an electronic duo." From the looks of things, it seems they might want to stick to this electronic sound for some time. Grab the download right now.

TowerClimb (Davioware)

TowerClimb is an interesting game created as an entry for GameJolt's Rogue contest. In the game, you will be playing some random explorer whose goal is to reach the top of an endless tower. The levels are randomly generated so you never know what you are getting. The game is done using Construct. Gameplay is basic, all you have to do is climb, climb and climb some more. You simply have to watch out from the pitfalls of climbing without a harness and of course, other things that might be waiting for you downstairs in case you do fall.

TeamViewer

For many people, TeamViewer needs no introduction. It's considered as one of the most efficient tool available for file or screen sharing. The program allows users to easily share their screens or provide remote access to colleages or friends. With the help of this software, it's easier to access a co-worker's computer if they need help fixing something on the computer. It's also possible to share your screen with a friend or pretty much anybody who has the program installed on their computer as well. The program was developed by GmbH, a German company that was founded in 2005. It's available for free download with Version 6 as the latest stable version available.

Probability 0

Probability 0 will definitely have you at your wits end. The game is a downward platform game that surprisingly has very little to do with probability but offers tons of options for you to experiment and explore. Levels of the game are randomly generated so you never get the same thing twice. Well, at least not all the time. The game was created by Droqen, a TIGForums member. The idea behind the game is that instead of a health bar, your status is represented by a number. You start off in the double digits and as you descend and fight off baddies; the number decreases. It goes down considerably if you take a hit. It's your job to stay alive, fight off the enemies and keep the number from hitting a zero. This simply means that your probability of staying alive is zilch. Give it a try, it's definitely worth your while.

The Arbiters: Wake Up Dragons

The Arbiters create cool indie alternative rock music with a touch of electronica. The recording is slightly raw but filled very intense energy that you could almost feel as if it's bouncing around the walls. The group sings songs in both English and Russian and they borrow elements from other genres other than indie rock. Wake Up Dragons is the first full length debut for the group. They did release a single titled 'Solo" and made it available for sale on both iTunes and Amazon. For this complete compilation, listeners have the option to buy it from the same iTunes, Amazon or simply download it for free right here or on Jamendo. Give this group a listen.

Cestos

Winning in Cestos Full means you have to be the last man standing. The game is an action multi-player that might seem simple but actually more complicated than it lets on. It's considered as one of the first multi-player Android games out there and has been winning tons of fans ever since its release. The game works on iPhone and pretty much any Android platform. It's easy to like and works great if you want to socialize and play with friends. The current version available is version 1.5 and features added logging. The best part about this game though is that it's offered completely free. What are you waiting for? Give it a try and see if you have what it takes to be the last man standing?
