A.D.D: Just Wait For It…

A.D.D. is an NYC duo of Amiel Cruz aka Twist and Ben Santiago aka Bennie Black, they've compiled a set of tracks that exude fun and engaging hip hop music. A.D.D. is actually an acronym for “A Dynamic Duo.” They’re fairly new in the scene, having just formed back in 2011. According to their mini bio, they’re not looking to get a record deal, they just want a “team of believers” for their music. Just Wait For It... is an independently produced compilation from the duo. The mini album features 8 cuts that range from pure hip hop rap to touches of pop and R&B.

Crescent Fresh: The Mondales

Crescent Fresh is the second album by The Mondales, a three-piece pop punk band coming from St. Louis. Tymphony: A Wish for Awaking in the Dream

Formed in 2004 at Bosphorus University, the Istanbul-based band Tymphony derives its name from the combination of the words "tempo" and "symphony". This ten-track collection encapsulates their name as it features a rhythmic mixture of oriental ambient, symphonic forms, and icelandic elements.

Beats Antique: Collide

Collide by Beats Antique might be several years old but it has aged beautifully. The album combines a fusion of electronica with world beats created by two formidable artists. It's then topped off by the hypnotizing moves of belly dancer, Zoe Jakes. The main maestros behind this eclectic sound includes, David Satori and Tommy Cappel. Both artists come together from a host of different backgrounds, having performed at their own respective bands and and musical outfits. Together with Zoe Jake, Beats Antique creates an explosive fusion of Western hip hop style beats laced with an undeniable exotic flair.

Remington Beach Club: My Trivial Pursuit of Happiness

My Trivial Pursuit of Happiness might be a few years old but the years haven't robbed it from its unique sound. Delivered by Bremen based quintet, Remington Beach Club; it features a mix of old school, indie and even slightly surfer rock. The band is composed of "Pretty Gridschneider, Michael Meraklis, J.R. Rip-Off, Schmidtrock, and Vuk Voltage." My Trivial Pursuit of Happiness serves as the group's first official album after debuting with an EP titled "Welcome To..." back in 2007. This three piece music group hailing from Seattle, Washington have a really eccentric taste for electronic music. In a way it feels like listening to something made for the evenings that end with a good drink or a smoke. What makes their album fun is that there is a supernatural element at work, an x-factor that can incite the most languid sensations and make you break out and dance inside the room.

Andrew Jonathan’s self titled compilation is a seven track album of acoustic goodies. It is easy to the ear with a grunge like outfit to polish the commercial needs of the listeners. Maintaining focus though can be a bit difficult because of the singer’s gruff tones suddenly springing out from time to time, but still, it doesn’t spoil the good music that it is.
