Milk White White Teeth are a Leeds collective that play a brand of indie music that is a swirl of indie rock, folk, tropical, progressive music that is infused with effective harmonies that makes for a beautifully big sound that sways as it unfolds. Members are James Hare, Jon Crabbe, Barrie Wilson, Alistair Grant, Polly Meadows, Michelle Clapham, Michael Gill, Chris Clark Alex Thomas and Alex Crabbe. Their latest release, The Holy Trinity Ep has so many influences it's hard to nail them all down. "Long Long (Before)" has echo's of post punk and the recent Canadian explosion of school band extroverts like Arcade Fire. The group has received quite a bit of attention ever since their formation back in 2004. To date, they have grazed the covers of prominent magazines like NME and THE FLY. Although most of the band's records are available for sale, you can download individual songs from their Demos compilation for free. These 5 songs embody a raw, sonic psychedelic sound that 's characteristic of the group's style. By early next year, the group will be actively touring Auckland, Australia and the UK in promotion of their latest record, The Fool. Snakes of Avalon is a dark game that's all about "alcohol incapacitation and people obsessed with murdering their other half." Playing the game means you have to be prepared for a lot of weirdness. In the game, you play Jack; a hobo looking alcoholic who hears talking fishes and zombies. He overhears a woman and his lover plotting murder against her husband. Jack decides he won't accept it and tried to stop them. The game features 90 minutes of surreal gameplay and storyline. If you play this game, keep in mind that the aftereffects might last longer after you're done. It's designed and coded by, Igor Hardy and Alex vand der Wijst while Thomas Regin is credited for creating the soundtrack. Give it a go.

Loop Raccord (or Raccord Loop) is a cool and unique game that's a current nominee for the upcoming 2011 IGF Nuovo Award. Developed according to the Experimental Gameplay Project's Neverending theme, the game showcases experimental gameplay that is interesting and captivating. The gameplay is a bit tricky to explain. Basically, you have to find the exact moment in an animated video or film and sync it with the next roll of video. Your goal is to create an infinite loop of movement by connecting every single video clip. Even though it's a bit tricky to do, there's no denying that it's a lot of fun. Created by Nicolai Troshinsky, it's one of the most original games out there. Just a word of warning though, it is a bit addictive but keep in mind that there's really no real end to the game.

The New & Very Welcome is basically Jessica Lynne McDermott. She creates wonderful indie acoustic pop right from her bedroom. This Changes Everything is the latest release from this laid-back songstress and it features 16 acoustic-inspired tracks. Every single one of the tracks were recorded in the artists' bedroom and then transferred to cassette. The album compiles raw yet endearing cuts that has every inch of indie stamped on it. Although the recording isn't that amazing, it's quite clean. As for the songs, not everything is a gem but there are definitely cuts worth listening to and downloading.
