Software or Games for iPhone

Firefox 8.0

Mozilla Firefox is synonymous with desktop browsing and it certainly has come a long way with solutions spanning to the smartphone territory. The recent update the browser received has indeed hiked the overall usage and adds some of the most amazing web-browsing features. Firefox 8 adds improvement to the Html render and also supports Html 5 for a much better gaming experience in the web-browser itself. Another great addition to the line-up was Twitter integration (will get to that, later in the post).

Contract Killer: Zombies

This time we bring something for the power-hungry gamer on both Android and iOS ecosystem in the form of Contract Killer: Zombies, an FPS game with highly detailed visuals and a very intuitive gameplay mechanism. The game takes its cue from the original Contract Killer version, but this time replacing human targets with brain-dead, flesh hungry and blood thirsty zombies. Brought to us by Glu, who have created some very visually intensive games in the past, the developers have raised the bar yet again with Contract Killer: Zombies.

Brothers in Arms: Global Front

Time to tie-your-boots, load the guns and stack up the ammunition. iOS is being invaded by Brothers in Arms: Global Front; a franchisee game which for the first time ever is being offered for free. The game has been developed by Gameloft, the makers who have produced visually appealing titles such as N.O.V.A 2, Backstab, Assassins Creed: Altairs Chronicles and a host of other enthralling gaming titles. Brothers in Arms: Global Front certainly lives up the prior releases and the growing legacy of Gameloft.

Dolphin Browser

And so productivity is enhanced for two of the most hardcore mobile platforms, namely, Android and iOS, with nothing other than the Dolphin Browser. The app is aimed at being a fast, efficient, and smart browser with a plethora of options you might have still didn't even hear about. Developed by Mobotap, this browser surely makes the cut.

iTranslate

nnoyed with the translations Google throws-up, with content making absolutely no sense at times. iTranslate is an app for all iOS device owners who go from country-to-country and find it difficult to adjust to the local language. Developed by Sonico Mobile, this mobile app is supposed to be one-of-the-most accurate and advanced in its genre. Yes, iTranslate does pack in a punch with accuracy and smooth feedback.

NASA

There is no need to introduce or give a briefing about NASA, so let me go ahead and tell you a little bit about the first official iOS NASA app instead. The app comes with a host of features and options ready to be explored, it also collects and segregates data with everything getting a timely update in a convenient mobile packaging. The app does not only entertain with the stunning visual effects, but also feeds the brain with the latest happenings of space at no cost at all.

iSplume

If you're looking for a different type of balloon busting game, iSplume might just be the game to try out next. Originally offered for sale, the game is now available as a free download on the Mac App Store. This cool puzzle game from Flash Bang Studios has gained quite a lot of fans since its release. Unlike regular puzzle bobble types, this one makes use of quirky little creatures called splumes. The objective is a bit similar to the original though. You have to position at least three similar colored splumes in order for them to pop. Of course, there are additional sets of rules that help make this one a little bit more interesting than its counterparts.
