Scale by Good Job Games takes the concept of the classic game Jezzball and gives it a nice twist. In a nutshell this is a boundary arcade game where your goal is to keep cutting an area until it gets smaller and smaller. However it is not as easy as it may seem as you must not hit the moving ball.

When you start the game, you’ll see a play button. Tap it and the game proper starts. Tap the button at the bottom to rotate, drag and drop on the screen and the line expands. Just keep dragging and dropping the icon to draw lines and to cut spaces, making sure not to make contact with the ball.

It sounds easy, but as the area gets smaller and smaller, the odds of hitting the ball go up. That is why timing is of the essence here. If you hit the ball before your cut is finished, you will lose a life.

The more areas you can cut, the higher your score is. The game also has a leaderboard so you can keep up and see where you rank among other players. While the gameplay is straightforward, you need to be patient to avoid hitting the ball. There is no timer on when to cut an area, so take your time.

Once you play Scale long enough, you will notice that the ball moves in a certain way, and you can use this to your advantage. The ball will still move around randomly however, so be careful. Scale is a simple game, but it is a lot of fun. It is also the kind that you will want to keep playing over and over.
