Symbol Link is a puzzle game for the iOS designed by Alexey Pajitnov, the same man who created Tetris. However, Symbol Link is a different game, optimized for mobile and is more like a cross between flow and number link puzzle games. The goal here is to match the correct symbols with one path, and it’s a lot of fun trying to figure it out.

Symbol Link differs from other puzzle games since you’re going to have to work with your iOS AI to get those points when you draw auto links. Auto links are connected automatically if there’s a path between them. The game, which is free to download, has more than 1,000 puzzles so there’s plenty here to keep you occupied for a while, something other puzzle games will find hard to match.

There are more than 170 challenges in Symbol Link and they come in five different types, so there’s no need to worry that the game mechanics or gameplay will get old quickly. While the game mechanics are easy to grasp, you’ll need to strategize to get far.

The graphics in Symbol Link are very stylish, nothing too loud but the visuals and colors are impressive. The sound effects are all right, and the music certainly adds to the game’s atmosphere. But what really makes Symbol Link fun to play is the variety, as there are many kinds of puzzle boards used in the game, each with a different shape and size. And if you find yourself stumped, you can always turn to the hints and guides to help you out.
