Get Everything (and faster).

Everything is a super-fast desktop file-search that integrates in your right click context menu. What makes Everything better is that it is able to bypass Windows on your desktop or laptop when searching which makes it faster to find your files as it does not scan the hard drive.

Everything uses the raw Master File Table for NTFS drives, which logs all changes made on the partition and gets straight to the files you want faster and with needed stability.

Everything Screenshot context menu is pulled up by a double right click to “search everything”. Everything software is then divided into two main controls; the search box and the results page.

When you first run it, you’ll find an index of all the files will be created. The index should be created quite quickly (unless you have millions of files). Searching is done in real time while you type.

Another advantage is that you do not have to worry about whether the database you are searching is up to date, about doing manual re-indexing operations or about areas on your hard drive that are not included in the database; you just finds stuff.

The context menu entry works on both 32 and 64 bit systems. It’s designed for Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista. Please note, Everything will not work on non-NTFS formatted drives (convert your FAT32 drives to NTFS anyway). It also will not search network drives (although it will search external NTFS formatted drives).
