Silly Walks is a one tap cartoon game, and like other casual titles it has a simple premise: you’re a noodle, hotdog, cheeseburger or any other of household foods and items. Your goal is to free your friends from the clutches of a dastardly blender. Silly yes, but PartTime Monkey has turned this into an enjoyable game.
The game takes place on various levels, usually with 3 tasks each. Each level is short and just requires you to rescue your friends. Apart from freeing them, you can also collect sugar cubes which serve as the in-game currency. With these, you can purchase new characters and use it to continue where you left off.
There are plenty of obstacles in your way: appliances going after you, cans, cups, fires, toasters, knives and more. Fortunately, the game controls are easy to manage. Your legs serve as a pivot and you tap to switch legs. Just tap and you’ll walk, and as the game continues you’ll gain other abilities to help you advance.
One of those skills is dashing, as it lets you shoot in a specific direction. You need to recharge before using it again, but it’s worth it. Apart from these, the levels are also well made. In many cases, you’ll interact with certain aspects of the level to reach your goal, something you don’t often get from other games.
Silly Walks may be silly, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s a nice game. Fans of casual one tap games will certainly like this one.
