Developed and published by Silicon Ice Development/Frozen Sand, LLC it is a tactical shooter that combines elements from classic FPS games while adding new features that make it more engaging. You get to do a lot of shooting here, but your character can also perform some cool feats.

Super Monday Night Combat (SMNC) is a free MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) shooter. Published by Uber Entertainment, it’s a third person shooter that was inspired by games like Warcraft III and Defense of the Ancients, but with its own twists. You have to choose between two teams who will then fight it out and destroy each other’s Moneyball.

Renegade X: Black Dawn

Renegade X: Black Dawn is a free 1st person shooter for Windows. Developed by Totem Arts, the game takes place in the Command and Conquer universe. This means you join the GDI and do battle against the Brotherhood of the Nod. However, this is more than a C&C rip-off as it’s a new game all its own.


Subvein is a top down shooter that requires both a quick trigger and ability to strategize. Led by developer Ben Johnson and the rest of the Subvein development team, the game has more than 20 weapons, tons of user generated maps and several vehicles.

Gems with Friends is a mobile match-three game from publisher Zynga. Just like its other “With Friends” game this has a lot of features and is meant to be played with your friends or strangers online. This is a strategy game, and like the others released by the publisher, is a blast to play with your online buddies.


Aion is a free to play MMORPG, originally released in South Korea but now freely available in Europe and North America too. In this epic fantasy game from NCsoft, combat and magic are the main elements, and you get to experience Player vs. Environment, and Player vs. Player, and you can also choose from different classes.

Paper Toss Friends is the sequel to the original smash hit game and developer Backflip Studios has upped the ante making it more exciting with an addition of a multiplayer mode. The game, available for the iPhone and iPad, has the same goal as the original and that is to flick an object into the bin. This is a very simple but addictive game, and youve probably played something similar to it in the office or at home.

The game of checkers has been around for a long time, and made their way into desktops laptops and smartphones. Checkers Free from Optime Software is one of the best looking ones for the iPhone yet. The design is simple and clean, something that has become a trademark of the company. Controls are intuitive; tap a piece to select and tap to where you want to put it. The game has an undo button in case you move in the wrong area. The options menu allows you to turn the sound effects on or off, use forced jumps or not and many others.
