His previous album, Lost Cosmonaut, introduced us to his brand of downtempo hip hop inspired tracks. The Iceland Sound EP is his latest effort and it's as exciting as his previous releases. His resident sound is still present. Although this time, he incorporates a more laid-back, chillout style that's both soothing as well as hypnotic.

Almost 4 years old, this Chester band first began their musical journey in August 2009. After all these years, 001 EP is the very first attempt at creating a compilation for the band. The four-track EP contains a fusion of alternative rock with a slight indie post punk vibe. Occasionally, they infuse their songs with a psychedelic feel for good measure. Even though this may seem a little too late in the game, It Happened Here wasn't exactly sitting idly throughout those four years. They, in fact, promoted themselves through live performances; playing and having regular gigs in various venues in and around Liverpool.

There's actually two people behind this dreamy electro indie pop number; I Used To Be A Sparrow is composed of Dick Pettersson and Andrea Caccese. Luke is an 11-track compilation that combines pop, alternative and a bit of indie all into one enjoyable fusion of sound. Even though "dreamy indie pop" tags are a dime a dozen these days, there are the occasional exceptions. This album is one of them. Originally made up of Maulskull, America Smith, B-Nuggs, INfluence, Noby One, Joe Kirschner, Dean Wakerlin, Dustin Thompkins and Milton Minasko; the crew has downsized to a six piece from a nine. Despite the dwindling number, they still churn out music that's worth grazing your ears.
